  1. Open WhatsApp and tap the  (More options) in the top right.
  2. Go to Settings → Chats → App Language.
  3. Choose from languages like Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Odia… and more!

2. Voice Typing in Your Native Tongue

  1. Install Gboard (Google Keyboard) from the Play Store/App Store.
  2. In Settings → System (Android) or General (iOS) → Keyboard, add your desired regional language.
  3. In any chat, tap the microphone icon on Gboard.
  4. Speak naturally in your langauge—Gboard converts speech to text instantly.
  5. Review and send!

3. Search Stickers & Emojis in Regional Languages

  • Tap the emoji icon in the chat box.
  • Go to Stickers → Search.
  • Type keywords like “खुशी” (khushi), “प्यार” (pyaar), or “उत्सव” (utsav).
  • Related stickers appear, making it fun and culturally relevant.

No more typing in English or scrolling endlessly—find the perfect sticker with your favourite word!

4. Accessibility Improvements

WhatsApp’s new accessibility options help users with vision or motor challenges:

  • Large Text: Increase font size in Settings → Chats → Font size.
